Dana Roman

Dana was born in Prague where she finished her Masters Degree in Architecture. In 1969 Dana and her husband Paul immigrated to Canada and settled in Toronto. In 1978 Dana decided to pursue her long time hobby in the textile arts. She took textile courses at the
Ontario college of Art. Starting with painting on silk and moving into textile wall hangings inspired by the mountains and outdoor life she leads, Dana has won awards for her art locally, nationally and internationally.
